Robert Wallace Levy graduated from Nicholls State University in 1970 and from Louisiana State University School of Law in 1974. He served as Mayor of Vienna, Louisiana from 1979-1990 and is currently serving his third six-year term as District Attorney for Lincoln and Union Parishes. He was appointed to the Board of Regents by Governor Foster in July, 2001. In addition to the Board of Regents, Mr. Levy is past president of the Louisiana District Attorneys Association, member of the Louisiana Judicial Council, member of Board of Directors for CABL, member of the Board of Directors for Community Trust Bank, and was an adjunct professor of Business Law and Criminal Justice at Louisiana Tech from 1978-2001. Mr. Levy is also a member of numerous civic organizations. He is married to Elaine Guy Levy and they have three daughters. ** |
