Victor T. Stelly is a graduate of Northwestern State University (Bachelor of Science, 1962) and Louisiana State University (Masters of Education, 1965). He taught and coached at Redemptorist High School and Broadmoor High School in Baton Rouge and McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Mr. Stelly served 4 years on the Calcasieu Parish School Board and 16 years in the Louisiana House of Representatives, where he served on the Education, Appropriations and Joint Budget Committees. He is currently on the Board of Directors of Jeff Davis Bank & Trust, CABL (Council for a Better Louisiana), in addition to numerous local organizations and groups. He was inducted into the Louisiana Political Hall of Fame in 2006. Mr. Stelly is married to Terry Bass Stelly, and they are the parents of three children and five grandchildren. ** |
