Chris D. Gorman from Shreveport

He is a Louisiana native and Executive Vice President of Tango Transport, Louisiana’s largest privately held truck-load carrier.  He serves on numerous boards and commissions including the Louisiana Motor Transport Association (LMTA), Louisiana Association of Business and Industry (LABI), the Northwest Louisiana Chapter of the American Red Cross, and the Shreveport Opera.  Mr. Gorman also serves as Treasurer of the Louisiana Serve Commission and in December 2010 was appointed by Governor Bobby Jindal to the Louisiana Board of Regents.

Mr. Gorman holds a B.A.A.S. degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of North Texas, and he attended the Harvard Executive MBA program.  In 2008, Mr. Gorman was a candidate for Congress representing Louisiana’s 4th Congressional District.  He and his wife, Jaci, and their two children reside in Shreveport.

Mr. Gorman represents the 4th Congressional District,and his term of service ends December 31, 2016.
